Leonid Meteor Shower

Unfortunately I didn’t plan well enough ahead so the state park where we were planning on watching the shower from filled up completely… We ended up watching from a trailhead just west of the park entrance and the trees blocked a majority of the meteors due to positioning. The effect of the cars going by did have a cool effect on some of the shots though 🙂 I also didn’t preset my 10-18mm lens to the right settings before it got dark so I spent a solid 45 minutes trying to get that right. Looking forward to trying again next year with my fisheye

  1. Very nice… I really need to take the time to learn more about my own camera and manual settings (Canon Rebel T3)… Finally got a good Zoom for Christmas! Been so busy with the new church and location that I haven’t been reading other blogs. Thanks for stopping by tonight!
