One of my favorite parts about working at Intel this summer was the fact that the campus I worked at was right next to the Hillsboro airport so when the Oregon Air Show came into town we got to see the planes practicing all week for free. This was only improved by the fact that the Navy Blue Angels came this year and I took a little break to go outside and photograph them. Honestly though, they were flying so close to the buildings that it was kinda hard to focus on work when they flew by.

We live near a small airport that handles the NASA pilots and gov. traffic. Love to see those jets overhead.
What great picture. Really difficult to pick out favorites, isn’t it?

Those are such fabulous pics! I was at the airshow at the Toronto CNE last weekend, and neither I nor my camera were capable of capturing shots even remotely like yours. 🙂 I really enjoy following all of your photos. You and they are inspiring me to want to take some photography courses in the near future!

Fabulous pictures! I was the Chaplain for the USAF Thunderbirds from 98-00. Both teams are something! We had a show in 99 that hosted the Blue Angels, Golden Knights (Army Parachute team), Leap Frogs (Navy Parachute team), Snowbirds (Canadian AF), and the Thunderbirds. I was busy on the flight line… Wish I had pictures! Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
