This 5 mile hike is pretty gorgeous. I decided to do the reverse loop starting at Wahkeena falls and coming back down the backside of Multnomah since Multnomah is always so packed with tourists. Heading up the hill, you follow the creek as it flows down to the Columbia and it’s pretty extraordinary. At one point there was this log which was perched perfectly to take a picture of the water flowing down and it even had some good wear on it, like many people had walked on it, but when I went out I discovered that it has been discovered by some wasps as the perfect home and got bitten a couple of times on the calf. That was not fun. I got a little lost at the top and no, there was no free ice cream π¦ The walk along the ridge to get to the downward of Multnomah was very pretty but I was sure that I was lost since I didn’t see anyone else on the trail after mile 2. Fairy Falls (which is the cover photo) was definitely the highlight of the hike.

Great photos of what looks like a stunning location.
