Seattle Day Trip

I took some of the other interns up to Seattle for the day and they wanted to hit pretty much every super touristy place that Seattle is known for… It was still a lot of fun 🙂

  1. You hit a bunch of my favorite spots. I’m about 90 minutes north of the city, and love to be a tourist there. Seattle Center has a bunch of things to do. For a few years, we celebrated the end of the school year by having lunch at the restaurant at the top of the Needle (expensive, but great to do even just once in a lifetime). And the waterfront has a bunch of attractions and restaurants. We love the aquarium. And of course Pike Street Market Place. Great time! One of these days I’ll see the troll. Haven’t yet.

  2. Good exposures. Even with a good lens, getting the landscape and sky sharp and contrasty you have to bracket and refocus sometimes.

I had to seriously practise balancing the landscape, sky and clouds for weeks to get a good feel.
