In the first of the mid-week after work hikes to the Columbia Gorge, a large group of interns and RCGs (recent college graduates) went to Oneonta Falls. Oneonta is unique in that you have to climb over a large barricade of fallen logs then wade through the freezing cold river in order to get to the base of the waterfall… The water is freezing cold and gets up to about your midsection. I kept my camera in the waterproof case until we got to the base of the falls and then got some long exposure shots done on my tripod. We then went swimming at the base of the falls, but only for a bit since the water is so cold.

These pics are just awesomely stunning! Wow! Very well done 🙂
