Flashback Friday- The Eiffel Tower

Some shots of the tower at Christmas-time, it was truly much larger in person than I would’ve expected… Was wishing I had a wide-angle lens to get the whole tower in the frame from up close šŸ˜‰

  1. Your eyes might be a bit crooked šŸ˜‰ In photoshop I just played with the brightness, contrast, saturation, etc… Just got my first wide-angle lens last week šŸ™‚

  2. They might be. I didn’t realize I could link to your flickr and get all your camera info there. I used to sell cameras at BestBuy, back when the T2i and the T3i were the most recent and popular Rebels. I liked them a lot but picked up Sony’s Nex-5T, for traveling. It’s great for landscapes, but I want to grab a fixed angle lens for better portraits. These pics look great, though, even without a wide-angle. Well done.

  3. Thanks! I was able to pick up the T2i used for pretty cheap and I’ve been building up my lens library until I’m out of school and can afford a full-sensor dslr šŸ™‚

  4. It’s true that it’s very difficult trying to capture the enormity of the tower. (Just standing under the tower and realizing how far apart the LEGS are is mind-blowing enough, but then you look straight up and, wow.) But you did a great job, as usual…
