Recently bought a vintage Nikon paired with a 50mm 1.8 Nikkor. My first lens at that focal length. No clue yet as to how good the images will be. But looking forward to it.
Good Luck!!! Whenever I force myself to use it, it really makes me think hard about the shot because you can’t get the same range of views as you would with a 18-55mm
Although 50mm is a bit tight on a Canon cropped-frame sensor (effective 80mm focal length), I had a great deal of fun using the prime, learning how to shoot, and moving my feet around to get what I wanted or needed. Now, that I’ve gone to full-frame, 50mm is a great focal length, but I think I’d like to get a wider prime: 24-, 28-, or 35-mm. Happy shooting with your 50!
Really nice image!
